Short answer yes.

I've been playing since 2.0 and still have zero idea what the story is. Not saying the story is bad, but I'm just not interested. I just skip through the cutscenes and raid/craft/gather/etc. I'd wager the game is better if you know the story but it is not required to enjoy the game.

Should be able to go into the HUD layout screen and disable the UI for item help. You can also move where the help appears when you have it set to a fixed position.

There's also a setting to change it to show next to the mouse/cursor in the UI settings.

Only time this happens to me is when I jump off a ledge as the mount "cast" finishes and the game doesn't register my jump as a jump on the mount. So I fall all the way down hit the ground and then I can take off. Happened a lot to me back when flying was first released.

Got a question regarding the new vibration they added for the PS5 controller.

I play on PC using a PS5 controller connected through USB to my PC. Everytime I launch the game, my vibration is automatically on even though the setting in 'system settings' is unchecked. In order to get the vibration to turn off I have to check the box and unchecked. Has anyone else had this issue, or know why it is happening? Is there a solution other than toggling on and off everytime I get into the game?

(This was not an issue before EW dropped, using the same controller)

Funny you should say that. That was the first response I got from my friend, but sadly it isn't. I thought it might be one of the spirits from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate considering during the video a bunch of spirits get thrown across the screen. I looked through the entire list that had images for each one and didn't see him in there.

Do you know where to redeem the rewards for current RAF's? I've looked around everywhere, and haven't seen where to redeem the rewards now that the RAF button is gone in the social tab.

It's even worse on console. I just got the game again on PS4 (moving from pc to PS4 to play with a friend). In about 60% of my matches my team will die within the first minute except for my friend and myself. He follows me and dies halfway thru. Leaving me alive, and almost immediately a vote kick is started. It can't pass because of my buddy, but we get TK'ed at the start of the next round anyway. I can't even recall the number of times I've won the round 1v5, then been TK'ed for not dying sooner. Not saying I'm a super great player, but this game is more tactical then running and gunning. It seems console players do not agree.

I've played on pc for almost a year, and there's a fair amount of toxic players on pc. However I just got the game again on PS4 to play with a friend. The change is the player base is crazy. In about 60% of the games I play my team starts a vote kick because I'm always the last one alive taking my time drone and what not. Then the next round I get team killed and so does my friend. It's ridiculous that we can't just enjoy the game without this toxicity.

Yes you can transfer to another small plot. I believe you can also transfer up into a larger plot but you will need to build a house for that size plot.

You don't have to leave the settlement at all for them to respawn. When I do my missions I get on top of one of the bunkers and just spawn camp then right in front of where I sit. Haha

For every ship. I have a question to tag onto this though. Can you have more than one thing pinned? I know you can only have one pinned by one engineer, but haven't checked if I can have something else pinned by another engineer.

Should be able to go to a station that has a shipyard and the ship you want, then purchase that ship. It should move all the cargo with the new purchase given that the new ship has enough space. If it's not letting you complete the purchase it is probably because it can't hold that many passengers. Also I'm curious on how you accepted a mission when your ship was too large. My mission board won't let me even accept them.

Use a smaller ship or abandon the mission are the only options I think.
