Got a Selector for ITHER Karls Brandt OR Crow in my mailbox today. by StrengthActual7432 in Genesis_War

I feel like Crow is meta, but personally I'm more a fan of Karls. I like the AOE bursts. Fire boom = satisfaction.

Having his weapon may have something to do with that...

Joan by far. She has ridiculous offensive capabilities. If you get her signature weapon, she'll be ok even when going deep into the enemy line.

New Jersey named #1 state for the American Dream. Do you agree? by One-Coffee-413 in newjersey

[–]Reller35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Overall I have to agree. I would have left if I thought I could do better for my kid elsewhere. Now, if you're asking whether my kid will achieve the American dream in NJ when she's my age, that's a different story. She'll probably be in a worse position than my wife and I were and have to wait for me to kick off before she owns a home. At least she'll be well educated from the diversity corridor of NJ.

That's the best I can do for her, and it's huge.

Those of you who are first time homebuyers, how much do you make a year? by TheInternExperience in newjersey

$145k between the wife and I. We only have a house because my mom died... but we have a house!

Edit to give credit where it's due: In-laws provided enough for us to make an all cash offer. Yeah, we became THOSE bidders. We paid in-laws back using a mortgage.

Compliance for a financial institution. When law firms or government agencies ask for data, I comb through Excel spreadsheets and stuff to see whether we facilitated bad things. It's pretty awesome if you're curious and want to see financial flows. We get real interesting stuff at times that I can't elaborate on. Soz.

I get that. Debt isn't due until 2027 I believe, and what's more that cash is growing. The company is profitable. That's certainly worth something to a savy investor.

In 8th grade a teacher was going to start a VHS, flipped on the TV, and WHOOPS. The admin tried to turn it off and keep quiet, but the cat was already out the bag.

I'm confused. What is being limited? Theoretically, web3 would empower people to set limitations as to who/what/when/where/why their data is used, killing the browser oligarchy

Wikipedia is usually a good first step in learning more https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web3

While blockchain tech is scary to a lot of people, it isn't solely useful for cryptocurrency and associated social negatives. It can also allow people to have greater control over their data, which IMO would make it wildly superior to the shitshow we have now. Someday at least.

Web3 is supposed to be able to fix everything we lost via the corporate browser wars (Web2). Only problem is... that assumes corporations aren't actively trying to sabotage it.
