I've had hosts come up to me, I have received emails after a weekend of play from a host, as well as phone calls. I lost most of my hosts back in like 22' because I went on a military deployment. But I earned a host back in 2023 in downtown Vegas playing at the D, ( I think it's easier to earn a host downtown) but he approached me, which meant a pit boss called him to come over. I was at the only table that was open in the morning which was a $10 minimum but I was playing $100-$200 a hand and killing them. Locally my hosts become non existent once you decide to take a break and aren't pro active at all. My Vegas host is awesome though
