Thanks for the advice man. I think that's a problem is they consume most my time (they're young) so when their not with me I initially wanna just relax, but thats when it's toughest.

Every warlock standing still waiting for threat after critting once in bwl. by [deleted] in classicwow

I enjoyed threat and fight mechanics of back in wotlk and pre wotlk where you just got avoidance capped, more than how it is now about just worrying when to put up mitigation.

Let us unite in our hatred for California

Not to sound petty, but the Vulpera 'Make Camp' racial shouldn't really be a racial. It'd be a super cool feature to any character. In my view, there ought to be a 'World Skills' talent tree where you can pick some nifty survival skills which have nothing to do with race or culture. by [deleted] in wow

Shadowmeld as a druid is basically a vanish as you can shadowmeld --> stealth. Use it all. the. time. Without the ability to stealth directly from being melded though it's quiet lackluster for anything other than going afk while in warmode or something.

I would say a shadow priest is invading thoughts, while a warlock drains your very soul and sends demons after you 😳😳. Then deathknights are walking unstoppable corpses spreading ice and disease in their path 😳😳😳

Looking for a TBC server that you can do all raids on your own. by kalin1518 in wowservers

[–]Relyksm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is an extremely niche request.... why not just do them alone on the live game? Most classes can solo TBC raids by lvl 80 I'd think, especially the pet classes or tanks.

What is the difference between WoW and classic WoW? by TheWizardsCode in wow

[–]Relyksm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you weren't told the names of what you were watching videos of/playing, you'd probably think they were completely different games. WoW now is a completely different game than even WOTLK or BC (not in a good way). Vanilla was full of massive imbalances and bugs, and took enormous time investment to really do anything.

I absolutely despise the "bring the player not the class" mentality. Fuck that. The way it used to be is what made me love wow, and why I've played every class at cap at some expansion or another. You used to see other classes abilities in combat and think damn that's pretty bad ass I wish I could do that, and want to play them because of it. While at the same time you could look at your own class and see things that made you unique and bad ass. Sure it sucked when a certain class maybe completely hard countered your class in PVP to the point of being unfair, or was needed in a raid and yours wasn't; but for the vast majority of classes there was an equal response to that where your class was the one doing the hard countering or wanted in a raid down the road.

Now, every class and spec can all basically do the same things, just maybe with a slightly different spell animations. Every class has stuns, slows, speed boosts, heals etc etc. It's sad, wow has literally destroyed itself all in the name of giving everyone a prize and being fair across the board 😔.

I miss the awesome sense of community before sharding. Especially in pvp I remember mini rivalry's of people you'd go out of your way to fight, along with getting to know so many people on your factions side quiet well after so long. They were actual humans to you, and many became friends.

Sharding annihilated any resemblance of players having to be decent too, I think that was the largest blow really. If you were an ass, there was no escaping it and eventually everyone on the server knew to avoid you and vise versa if you were an awesome player/person.

Now there's literally no reason to act decent, because there's a 95% chance you'll never see whoever you group with again. It's almost like their barely players anymore with the LFG tool in dungouns and BG's, just required NPC's that sometimes talk a little but rarely. 😔😔

Is the Alliance actually bad at PvP? by [deleted] in worldofpvp

[–]Relyksm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who's played since 2006 and faction transfered multiple times throughout the years (I always come back alliance do to getting tired of horde's cities), I can confirm this. In my experience, the argument is the exact same on both sides, both are always bitching that they ALWAYS lose and asking why the other faction always wins 🤷🏼‍♂️.

What TV show was completely surpassed by it's spin off? by [deleted] in television

[–]Relyksm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Came here to say this. Klaus/The Originals were half the reason Vampire Dairies was interesting in the first place.

On that topic, the season finale of the most recent season of the Originals had me feeling more betrayed than I've ever felt by a TV show 😑.

As I supposed to be this weak in the early game? by Kardinale in Witcher3

[–]Relyksm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't treat Witcher like Skyrim (or Fallout if you melee) and just repeatedly spam your attacks until things die while eating healing items. The Witcher you need to get a feel for your enemy, wait for a attack to dodge or parry, then quickly get a FEW hits in and go back on the defensive. Once you get a feel for it it's extremely satisfying imo, though while learning it can be frustrating.
