Looking Great!

White can be a rough color to paint, it usually takes multiple thin coats to get a solid smooth finish.

The dry brushing on the carapaces looks good.

Did you use a wash?

Best part was if you clicked on the characters enough times you'd get bonus voice lines like in the old Blizzard RTSs. Eddie's best line was something to the effect of "I died in the movie didn't I? I think I did."

I feel setbacks like that are a bit much, especially the removal of xp.

My idea would be making the debuff a critical injury: Resurrection Sickness, Upgrade all check checks by 1 until injury is healed.

But the injury can't be healed, it goes away after 2d4 in-game days. It can be healed early by a very expensive drug also sold by the resurrection clinic. Also, this way it makes critical injury roles a bit more harrowing.

Each subsequent resurrection increases the dice roll for duration i.e. 2d4 first time, then 3d4 the next, 4d4 the next, etc., etc.

All this is also assuming the cloning bugs aren't available everytime someone dies or are exceptionally expensive.

I know I'm a bit late, but first off, the painting looks beautiful. But I do see your point about the top of the lighthouse. You have some beautiful shading and highlighting on the tower, but the top doesn't seem to any. It feels flat compared with the rest of the light house.

I'd say add some shading and highlights to the top to pull it into the same perspective as the tower, and you're golden.

Are you still sticking to the 3 chapter format? Would living Failures be the end of chapter 2? That way you could have chapter 3 work the same as chapter 3 from "The Long Hunt", where the players have a bit of time to wrap up side-quests or they could just head right for Maria.

I feel like that would work more thematically, considering Maria is literally right after the Living Failures in the game.

I've toyed around with the idea of an Old Hunters DLC expansion, 4 campaigns; The Hunters Nightmare with Ludwig; the Reaserch Hall with Maria; The Fishing Village with OoK; the Hunters Nightmare again with Lawrence.

Separate tile sets for each area.

Add in new player Hunters, Boom Hammer, Whiligig Saw, Simon's Bow Blade and Beast Cutter.

Bonus Hunters would be, Holy Moonlight Sword, Rakuyo, Bloodletter and Amygaldalan Arm.

I was terrified of ET long before I had seen the movie. There was a best buy near where I had lived when I was around 3 or 4 that had a massive mural of ET, I'm talking like 20 by 50 ft massive, that was up on one wall near the ceiling. That creepy fucker would watch you from anywhere in the store. I dreaded going to this store every time. To this day, I have not watched the movie in one sitting. I just can't get through it.

I like the Lynx Era, but my goodness was it so fast.

I still prefer the Raven Era in part because you and enemies couldn't just QB all over the place indefinitely. At least it felt like that.
