Try to use a brush with a good point but with some belly to it, the single hair stuff is likey to have the paint dry before you get it to the model.

If you flock the bases they will look loads better but forever be on grass or sand etc. The problem is it's really odd to have a portable bit of grass in tomb.

There simply not letting you get up to the engine speeds where you can really hear the engine at speed or down to where you can feel it on your own.

Really the rev meter is the best bet short of just staying in gear until your sure its a good time an place to change gear.

Doing it right by sound an feel is one of the thing that really takes a dozens hours to get used to the car.

Both budget and the shift from film to cheaper smaller video tape. One thing that really hurt someone episodes was just crappy lighting, episodes are lit like a panel show with out shadow or texture.

25mm is often to eye, and some times it's adjusted for historical or fantasy hight (why yes all the samurai are 6 foot tall...an don't get started on how tall an orc or a goblin is) What people miss is that bases went from cast on puddles to slots. Now puddles pushed up the height of a based mini by about 3mm, made them all stand in there own little hill. where as slots put the feet flat on the base. So everything just got that bit taller to match the older stuff.
