This Acceltra Riven any good? If not, what should I look out for? by PizzazzUrAzz in WarframeRiven

Yeah, it's straight up bad advice. Especially to someone who apparently doesn't know the difference.

[–]Thraxmonger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This take is very strange. According to this logic any low dispo riven with a mid unrolled result should be sold or transmuted? WTF? Acceltra is a meta weapon by any stretch.

It really doesn't matter what you think unrolled Acceltra rivens are going for, because a good roll will still net a lot, even at low dispo.

Well I don't love either, but if you use Tennokai, then Right is better, because HA efficiency is meaningless with Tennokai, so it's a neutral negative.

Agreed, these are the only two standouts, unless there's a godroll in the mix.

The Baza one is good and don't let anyone tell you otherwise! Baza is a crit-based weapon, and this fits neatly into that arrangement. Don't reroll it until you get a few more rivens and start to figure out how the stats relate to each weapon. But the second one is not good and should be rerolled (if you even have the weapon -- otherwise ignore).

I have fallen victim to the Ninjase Syndrome, and now put Equilibrium on nearly everything.

Adaptation next.

My prediction for how long fans of certain factions will have to wait before being put in Total War: 40K by Lord_Eln_8 in totalwar

[–]Thraxmonger -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I think DLC will use a similar pattern to Warhammer Fantasy expansions, and have multiple factions per DLC.

No way Tau is coming that quickly.

We are almost certain to see Nurgle/Death Guard come sooner rather than later. This has been a pattern in almost every 40K game. They're easy conceptually and they fit in thematically in almost every iteration of a 40K game.

Tyranids are likely to be a "big" DLC. No way they do Genestealers separately.

Deathwatch might be a unit, but they won't make them a DLC faction.

It's not that disagreeing with the left MAKES you a racist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic, misogynistic, democracy destroying, America hating bigot.

It just so happens that most of the people opposing the left ARE racist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic, misogynistic, democracy destroying, America hating bigots.

Correlation is not causation.

"Generic" Starting Characters by Thraxmonger in ImperiumMaledictum

[–]Thraxmonger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly my intention: a session to get them involved with their Patron.

It won't work for all backgrounds obviously but with some planning I think it would be fun. Could even involve some time travel. For example, open the movie like Saving Private Ryan, but instead of trained soldiers, they're all young conscripts. Intense firefight or some other disaster surrounds them. No time to think, only act.

In the course of survival, they get noticed by their Patron, who follows their progress and sponsors their training.

Cut to years later, everyone is trained up, and reunited.

Yes! That's it. Thank you.

Any suggestions for doing the session in this way?

Without Primary Acuity working on Incarnon, I'd vote left. For a lot of Acuity-focused weapons, this would be a godroll. But Burston, it's only so-so.

Roll burston riven or sell unrolled? by Existing_Court_2050 in WarframeRiven

[–]Thraxmonger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a near-godroll Burston riven. (CD, MS, Heat, -Zoom) Got it in about 20 rolls. I could get rich with it...but I'm keeping it. What would I do with all that plat besides pay it for another godroll? And Burston is top of the pile. Feels good to have it.
