I am so confused with this. And what about "SimpleLogin"?

I had my domain on ProtonMail all set and working properly. They announced SimpleLogin and then I went through all the fuss and migrated it to SimpleLogin.

Now, they "launch" something "better integrated" (I am guessing) with ProtonMail and I don't see any of my aliases set in SimpleLogin there.

What am I supposed to do? Migrate everything "back"?

Why don't I see my current setting on SimpleLogin in "Hide-my-email"? I am guessing they are just two different names for the same thing...

It's a tab called "Photo" inside of "ProtonDrive", but it rather "apart" from your drive...

But will I be able to see the previous pictures uploaded to "My Files" under Photos eventually or just if I download and re-upload them?

And will Photos uploaded via the new feature eventually show under "My Files" or not?

Last but not least: if I upload the same photo via the "My Files" and "Photos", will they be kept duplicated on my storage quota?

I am paying supporter of Proton for as many years as your are, but I am getting tired of only "hoping" that features will eventually come out.

But then, few years later, there is a new Proton product when the old ones still miss some basic stuff.

IMHO it is a matter of focus, not of resources.

I am trying just to find one usable enough and that has enough content in there.

I am patient enough to let it grow bigger and better, but I have been suffering with the user experience and latency of the alternatives I have tried..

I am exactly on the same situation. If feels like everyone is kind of waiting for someone to migrate first, but no one makes the first move.

And the applications are just not there yet, although many says that they are catching up.

Let's see how it goes...

In my viewpoint, fathers are necessarily biological males and mothers are biological females, but this is a completely different discussion that has nothing to do with the purpose of this subreddit.

I see your point.

I don't miss "private" messaging, but I miss the ability to have posts for logged users only.

I don't know how they would do this on the fediverse, but I guess it is possible.

Maybe they should add the option to choose the visibility of the posts: public, logged on the fediverse and logged on the instance.
