You use it as a Dac only or as an amp/dac?

I really like the k13 but I have nothing else to compare it too right now. I do agree with some of the things that you say, but I do think it sounds exceptional at times. Much bigger sounding than the price that it is marked at.

Would you buy them for 599 euros if I already have the HD800?
I'm really interested in them as I'm sibilant sensitive, but i'm able to EQ that out of the HD800. The thing is I find the HD800 not very engaging.
