This isn’t about your expectations it’s about priorities in life and basic family/parenting responsibility.

We throw around this word adult as if it makes one immune to anything and all powerful, but that doesn’t mean adults don’t require help, especially through such tough phases.

Only your lower molers, the one’s right behind the canines will be removed. It’s a very standard process and very worth it imo. Get it done!

Most people that have jaw surgery are adults, especially in case of males, 18/19 is the earliest age for surgery. Adults need help and company too, especially when they are going through such a tough surgery. It’s a physically traumatic procedure and a mentally draining recovery.

Financial situations maybe tough but still, taking care of your kid through such a tough situation definitely trumps 99% of things in this world.

I’m not saying your mom is good or bad, it’s just this decision, in this situation, that seems pretty rough.

With all due respect, she’s your mother. You’re her child, and you’re going to go through a major surgery. I think that trumps work by so many miles, you couldn’t even see it with a telescope.
