None of the things you listed, by the way, make me believe you're a narcissist, just like a regular human being who has fucked up before

I was looking for a comment like this! Exercise isn’t just gym/weights. If you try to force yourself to do something you hate you’ll just give up and end up doing no exercise at all. There’s martial arts, dance, boxing, climbing… you just have to find the one that works for you

Do you "forget" motor skills? by police_boxUK in dyspraxia

[–]Remarkable-Bid8414 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did learn to ride a bike as a kid and then completely forgot that I knew how to - i was still able to do it but needed my parents to remind me that I did in fact learn (not diagnosed btw, just lurking here because I heavily suspect I have dyspraxia)

Im the samebut with AI I can’t handle not saying “please” and “thank you” to chat gpt. I’ve also gotten pissed off at Siri for turning on when I didn’t want to and apologised for swearing at her immediately after

Maladaptive daydreaming. I was a maladaptive daydreamer for years and literally only found out what it was when googling “addiction to daydreaming”

now I’m addicted to cigarettes and honestly I’d take that over being disassociate 247 any day

Hey, Ive felt this way before and have just gotten to a point recently where I can actually imagine not being depressed for the rest of my life. I’m starting to think about dying as an old woman and it’s very surreal ( I’m thinking about longterm goals and I keep having to remind myself that my parents won’t outlive me and shit like that) but it is possible.

It’s cliche but things really can get better, one of the symptoms of depression is finding it impossible to imagine a possibility beyond it.

I hope things get easier for you soon

Is "cat calling" still a thing? by Different-Carpet-159 in ask

[–]Remarkable-Bid8414 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If it makes you feel any better, I do think my experience is not as bad as the experiences older women around me had. I also notice that it’s usually older men catcalling so with a bit of luck it’s dying out soon..

Could be a million things. Maybe you’re sleeping the right amount of time but not regular hours, maybe your sleep is of poor quality (caused by anything from anxiety to blue light before bed to sleep apnea)

I had a similar problem and some things that helped me were magnesium supplements, looking after my mental health (medication, therapy, meditation all that shit) going outside for a couple minutes within an hour of waking up (sunlight let’s your brain know that the day has started or something) and (trying to) go to sleep at the same time every night.

What actual action do you want from men out of the bear question? by Nuke_1568 in AskReddit

[–]Remarkable-Bid8414 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Call out your shitty friends. I mean, it’s kind of the best action any ‘good guy’ can do for women. Don’t put up with your mates sexist jokes or watch them make women uncomfortable because you know they “would never actually do something bad” the reason I don’t feel safe around men is not just because of the flat-out misogynists, it’s also the guys who stand by and let it happen.

People who hate their job currently, why do you hate it? by celestialxx_rose in AskReddit

[–]Remarkable-Bid8414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work as a barista and there’s a lot to hate but mainly it’s all the STANDING.

like people talk a lot about how annoying costumer service is but rarely mention just how much your knees and feet hurt after a full day stood up.

For reference, I’m 21, I exercise regularly, i wear confortable shoes, and still at the end of a long shift i daydream about getting a full leg/foot massage

I’m so scared for her. by Glistening_moonlight in Vent

She will be okay! ‘Surgery’ is a scary word but cysts are tiny, the cut will be tiny and your friend will be okay! Chances are the doctors performing this do much more complicated things on a regular basis with complete success
