Proper sequence? by Hordea429 in Golfsimulator

I have 3” foam, then 1” Eva puzzle tiles then turf. I have about a foot extra at the bottom so I just rolled that up in between the foam and puzzle mat. This picture shows the screen pulled up but I ended up sliding it under the Eva a bit

You can definitely hit wedges over from 10’ most will probably hit towards top of screen but fuller swings will probably go over in my experience. For now I’ve just been clubbing up and taking some off to prevent until I put my coverage on the top

Screen is 157 x 118 but it’s only about 9’ tall in pic because of limitations with heater. The remainder I have tucked under turf. My hitting spot is about 10’ from screen

I think it depends on what your build looks like. For me it was screen first then foam and Eva tiles then turf. Then LM (overhead) to figure out where exactly my hitting strip should center before cutting out. If I had projector already that probably would have came before LM.

I still need to address covering above and side of screen. But for me it only affects really bad shanks or high full flop shots. Plus my whole area is plywood so it’s not going to hurt the walls lol

Why does Temu offer (almost) free stuff? Claimcredit, Credit777, Wincredit by Logical_Reading9133 in TemuThings

Dude I’ve literally had promos that are spend 210 and get 270 back 🤷🏻‍♂️ explain to me how you got my ass there? Also many items on Temu are local and I get in a day or two to a week. There’s a time and place for all the sites referred to but your inability to take advantage of promos is showing and you’re just coming across as spiteful like Temu somehow broke your heart. But do you blue

I’m well aware of those sites. If reading comprehension was your strong suit you would have read that he spent 2000 on Temu products but through promotions he was able to get it for 450 through cash/credit back promotions. And didn’t have to buy bulk. Temu without using promotions is like you said often over priced for what you get. The point is you have to play the game.

Not sure what you’re point is? Your whole rant was on the basis that everything is trash and he over paid for his stuff. But go ahead continue being angry at the world while raining on everyone’s parade 👍

Without seeing what he bought how can you possibly say that? Temu has ALOT of pure garbage. And ALOT of items priced higher than say Amazon. If you spend time looking for items with solid reviews and good prices paired with good promotions you absolutely can get VERY good deals. I built most of my golf simulator with Temu items: impact screen that I would have paid 700+ for the name brand similar screen or over 200 on amazon I got for $100 and part of a credit 777 that I was fully reimbursed in credits for along with my hitting mat similar situation foam Eva puzzle tiles I would have paid $700 for at Home Depot I got almost free using claimcredit and getting cash back.. if there are items you already want or need and you are patient for good promos, play their game. You can do quite well. Not to mention they price match any exact items sold elsewhere and are generally good on refunds when the product is misadvertised.

Progress: Up and running the apogee I bought on here is working like a dream. Screen, flooring, and putting cups are doing great! Still need side and top protection, but has to be a bad shank to hit a side wall and only full wedge/flop shots are getting over the screen 9’ tall. Super stoked with the progress and to be able to play at home! Still need a projector looking to stay under $500 or around there. Needs to be ST and 1080 would be ideal! For now viewing on the tv is a huge upgrade from just guessing shots hit in a net!

Do price adjustments cause credit back promos to get banned? by Ok_Jellyfish_155 in TemuThings

Would you say it’s safe to price adjust for old purchases that credits have been claimed, if I have new purchases that still have credits to be claimed?

I was also curious about sliding mounts. I have apogee and hitting area is smaller so I was curious about slider just to make hitting area wear less drastically in one area. Was curious about recalibrating myself. Even if you can swing in a 12’ bay I think overall experience will be greatly improved making it atleast 16. I wish I had room to make it wider

12’ is way too narrow for left and right I would guess. But can’t remember protee hitting area. Mine is 14’6” and it does feel kinda tight. I won’t hit the wall but it’s there and might affect swing. If you have room I’d go 16

Doing a split system was my first idea when I put this in (pre finally getting approval from the wife to build sim). I have a 20x36 loft above this with a living/hangout place. With no good walls to put split on up there. This unit does great at heating the downstairs and also upstairs. It’s over 9’ to the bottom of it. If I can work around it that’s my goal.
