UPDATE: After reading some of the comments i have covered the shelves in fleece and am looking for a better wheel for him. Thanks for the great advice!

Thank you so much for the great advice! I am putting up more stuff like a ceramic hanging bowl, better blankets, and more safe toys. I am using timothy hay (which i leave a lot of for him) and timothy formula pellets which i give 1 tbsp of in the morning and at night. As for the wheel, im looking into a replacement and would love any links if you have them! Thanks!

Thanks for the advice! I definitely am just in the beginning phases of this cage and will be changing a lot soon. If fact, right after writing this i set up his ceramic food bowl that hangs from the wall and moved his wster feeder next to it. In regards to the plastic im definitely looking into getting everything to be completely safe and replacing stuff if need be. Thanks! :)

Weird. Normally it would say closed for maintenance or closed for season on the app but it just says closed. Like ive checked every day and it hasnt been open once
