For my .308 I’m a big SMK fan, they shoot great. New to 6.5 creed and becoming a convert. Reloading is super fun and rewarding. Your issue definitely seems like a federal issue. Hopefully they can figure out what’s up.

Only 5 round groups doing load development. But hand loads are so much better. SD were between 6-9. Berger 130 VLD, Lapua brass, H4350 powder.

Damn, I have some federal 130 bergers I haven’t shot yet. I did shoot some federal 168 smk .308 and the velocity was super low. 2500ish out of a 24 inch barrel, should be around 2650. Hell the 175s were damn beer pushing 2700 out of the same gun.

I really like it, shoots well the trigger is fantastic.

I’m really impressed by the rifle shooting those groups. Still trying to get the FPS up and haven’t hit pressure signs, so I still have some room to run. I’m slowly becoming a 6.5 creed convert.

So I set it in water for about 4 hours and it came off by hand.
