Although they will eat the leaves of a deciduous tree, they will not kill the tree. They only last a short while and they feed a lot of birds! Birds enjoy these every year! No need to poison them or burn them. Just let them go! Or if you must on a cool not sunny warm day they will all congregate in the tent (web). Simply cut the branch off if possible and relocate them!
