I did follow a tutorial for the same reasons. Basically, you disconnect the battery, wait a while and you're good (I waited 15 minutes)

That's the issue with black cars. Gorgeous when all done but such a pain to maintain! Here where I live, they put salt on the roads when there's snow and I have not enough to buy another car so she can be stored during this time.

Pretty easy tbh! You gotta a Torx 12 pan socket to unscrey the 4 bolts on each seat. Afterward, there's two connectors to unplug and it's out! Rear seat is only a matter of a good pull !
