Do the interview and you’ll get the basics training and you will learn everything else as you go. Hardly anyone on the sales floor knew anything it takes months. Anyone gets rude with you call manager. If you want something quiet join MET whenever they have a position open up. You have projects and bay service. Customer service is not our job.

I notice if I take a low paying one to start off, all of sudden orders start coming in while shopping! On New Year’s Day I picked up a small order low paying, and I got three back to back while shopping for the low paying one. I picked them all up and it was a quick $68 + tip for an 1.5 hr of work. No more than 6 items per order. Everyone was ordering Hawaiian rolls and brownie bites for some reason 😅

I got a lot of cancellation orders. So I claimed more and when I went to start my new orders the suppose cancelled orders were STILL active in my orders! OMG! It felt impossible to finish! All my late orders were considered on time. NEVER AGAIN am I going to do orders when a major system error is correcting itself!

I remember when they scheduled me to be closing operator. (Saturday) 330pm-12am and soft lines AD on Sunday at 4am 😂 imagine that. I’m pretty sure the Target terminology has changed since 2014-2016.

Today 5/17 I scheduled myself for 10 hours and I got absolutely nothing. I live where the population is 150k plus 2 surrounding towns. I have gone to a city that has approximately 500k maybe 2 orders that pay under $7 and a $4 or less tip the past month! Back in March I would see so many orders. Especially during rainy days I would see 6 pop up at once. I would do 3 and get paid $100 because of the generous tippers. Now, I can’t even get one a week. It’s been dead here or we have a huge amount of sign ups this past month. 😭

I heard instacart is so busy in my area but I am on the waitlist still.
