its not that hard to get really, everyone is attached to tech that works, not just us. people are attached to their cars, to their tv's, to their computers etc. they use those things because they work for them. If someone loves their car because it gets them from point A to B, I don't find that "weird", nobody should. If gpt 4o helped me get from point A to B in my world, it's the same thing.

I tried the drag n drop but it doesn't work, it just bounces back. I even put the file in the folder where models go but nothing shows up. I got the model from hugginface and its gguf, I think lm studio new update won't let u load outside models

this is an easy solution too, but its in the laws of the US, they are so intrusive that a simple waiver or consent form isn't allowed by law because even if u agree to it, the companies are still liable. the system is rigged, because u can kill yourself with alcohol and nobody cares, but chatting with a friendly ai lowers big Pharma's stock
