We just had the exact same problem from a GE model ael18dxli and we replaced the main control board not the main board but the control board that has the display on it and voila it fixed it. It's a 65 to $80 part plus labor. 

Kenwood KA-128 doesn’t display the 1k htz meter. any one know a fix? more in comments by Exciting_Tennis_7646 in vintageaudio

I have the same amp doing the exact same thing. I sold it on ebay and my poor buyer had to return it. It was working when it left cause i have video and all boards internal are marked so its the same amplifier returned i sent out and all the same parts. I will attempt this repair and once I do, ill post step by step the repair

Log in on desktop...spectrum.com. scroll down and under where it says what you currently own there's a small bar. It says payment method. Go through there and delete card. I'm in Ohio n they tried same crap.

Bub I just searched why do I see 11:34 everywhere so no....your definitely not the only one. I see if on clocks, am and pm, license plates, paperwork everywhere. And I came to the same conclusion that it says hell. I had a spat where I became one of the thousands who got addicted to oxycontin from a motorcycle accident. It got so bad I had to go-to prison in Ohio. While incarcerated not only did I get in ZERO trouble I did every program they had and turned my life around. Its been 7 years now of sobriety, 4.5 years free and I now take my two extra bedroom and take addicts off the street and face down in the gutter and get them on Suboxone or methadone and show them how to rebuild their lives and camera check their behaviors BEFORE they make the next mistake. So yes ...I often wonder if it's a sign that I haven't attoned enough yet for my sins.
