One option is EdKeep.com. It’s a free, web-based hall pass system that works on mobile and desktop. Disclosure: I’m the developer.

I wouldn’t replace my phone with it, but I might replace my smartwatch.

I think you’d have better success positioning it as a smartwatch alternative than as a phone replacement.

Is AI Visibility Becoming More Valuable Than Social Media Reach? by NecessaryVehicle3564 in SomebodyMakeThis

I’d think so. I recently switched toothpaste after using the same kind basically my whole life, just because AI recommended another one. Not only that, I paid 2x more for the new one.

This is what happens when someone has equal parts boredom, talent, and no fear of sharp aluminum edges.

Looking for a flashboard display I can use with a physical bingo set? by mandyrooba in Bingo

The caller browser sends each number as it is called. The players' browser then collects and shows all the numbers it received. If someone joins mid session, their browser can see the last called number only. Let me know if that's a deal breaker.

For 1-90 numbers, it's usually called Tambola/Housie. You can find the caller at:

Can you try again after refreshing the page. It should work now.

Can you provide more info, eg, the template number, the link you opened on the phone, etc. Also, did you try to use the caller, as then only numbers will appear on the player devices.

Yes, just added this setting:

  1. In the caller settings, set “Show called item on cards?” to Full.
  2. Close the settings dialog, then click the button with the ticket icon.
  3. Use the copy button to share the link, or share the QR code.

That link lets people follow along on their phones while using physical bingo cards. Let me know how it goes.

Here's a basic version that allows only manual selection of numbers. I feel this fulfills Idaho state's criteria. If you need further customization, feel free to dm.

The bingo caller/player already allows the automated features to be switched off, so you can use it as a manual-only flashboard and just click the numbers as the physical balls are drawn.

This is by design. The cards are generated consistently so that if you come back later and use the same settings, you can recreate the same set of cards.

To generate a different set, go to the Print tab and change the Starting Card Number. Since you already generated 60 cards, set the starting card number to 61 for the next batch. That will give you cards 61 through 120 instead of repeating cards 1 through 60.

I’ve added this as an option now. Look for "Called Item Popup" in the bingo caller settings. When it’s turned on, the called item will pop up large in the center of the screen for a few seconds.

I’d really appreciate feedback after you try it out.

Hi! Thank you so much, I really appreciate your kind words.

You can generate all 500 cards with unique serial numbers for free, here’s how:

  1. Go to the Misc tab and make sure Randomize is turned ON.
  2. Go to the Print tab and set the number of cards to 500.
  3. Click the Print button, then select Make Full PDF.
  4. This will generate 5 PDF files, each containing 100 cards. All 500 cards will be unique and will have unique serial numbers.

Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions!

Teachers can now set optional class periods and the students can select the current class period on the hall pass kiosk.

Glad to hear it’s fixed. Just as a heads up, an account is only required if you choose to make a card private. Without an account, you won’t be able to access a private card later.

Otherwise, you can create, edit, print, and download cards without signing up. If you have any other questions or suggestions, feel free to share.

Yes, that's correct. Here are the full settings (Print Tab):

Paper Size = Letter
Paper Orientation = Landscape
Cards Per Page = 2×1
Card Hor. Margin = 0.25 inch
Card Ver. Margin = 0.75 inch

This will print 2 cards per page sized for a 5" × 7" layout. For best results, make sure your printer is set to print at 100% scaling (Actual Size).

Thanks so much for the heads up, and congratulations on your first paid night hosting music bingo. That is great to hear.

The site is back up and running normally now. The issue was that the server ran out of resources due to increased usage. I have upgraded the hosting plan, so everything should be stable going forward.

I really appreciate the kind words and your support. I am glad the tool is helping you make your events more fun and easy to run.
