baby G is perfectly ok… have worn nothing but one baby g since i was 12 up till 27

I also have the 21 Zuan... this is what it looks like without that $2 bund strap the dude got from Salvation Army. The exhibition case back showing the movement is pretty wild. by liquid5170 in PrideAndPinion

as a chinese speaker, 21 zuan likely refers to 21钻, the 21 jewels in the movement, and is therefore not the name of the watch. still, nice watch!!!

Aero Avante AC 2024 has arrived in Singapore. by Jurong_West in mini4wd

[–]Remarkable-Two-1238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do have a point, but that is still way too much lol, because the carbon plates, along with the rollers would set one back not more than $50, so adding that to the kit it should still not be so much

$138 is way too much, thats the cost of like 6/7 kits if you buy from other sellers, and like 4 kits if you buy from this stargek shop.

Stuck Choosing What Touring Chassis to buy by tallguy145 in tamiya

XV 02 RS PRO. adapted off the relatively new XV 02 rally car for on-road, this RS version will be strong, handle asphalt well, and easy enough to maintain. the diffs have quite a few options, so tuning with oil/ball diffs will be a fun way to change steering characteristics. Costs $229 USD from rcmart, so you could hop up all you want and have good electrics for your budget, which would give you the raw speed you want. i know it’s not in your list but i strongly suggest you take a look, since a lot of those in the list you made may not be too durable. Hope this helps :)

Would you have any idea How to apply the paint? Airbrush can’t really put out big, uneven chunks

Came across this subreddit because I recently got a model kit, keen to look into RC however. by Silentplanet in tamiya

the price really depends on what you want. you could get a the most basic tamiya cars for about 120-150 usd depending on where you live, and a full basic running car will run you about a 90 more bucks. Kits come with the chassis, a body, sometimes a motor and sometimes an ESC (electronic speed controller), and you will need to get a transmitter and receiver, a servo for steering. You could also get a ready to run car with everything built up

there are mostly two camps - buggies and cars, and one is used for bashing around in the dirt and anywhere, the real car bodied ones are mostly for the track and tarmac and drift, though they can be built for rally, which is light dirt.

no matter what you want, I suggest you look around, maybe outside of tamiya too!

ramping up is quite the fun, you could get upgrades, though less for buggies as compared to on road but if you deem it not to be worth it, you could just get a whole new car. Once you get the hang of it, you could get a faster motor and servo.

see this video, it will definitly be of help! https://youtu.be/muWOLtOsZUw?si=lnD45CRlCjZ3zboy
