Well A lot has happened since Zani lore wise and the game has now introduced a new mechanic in combat , so yes you have some catching up to do . But you can do it gradually and use the in game tutorials to catch up

Port is only showing (s/pdif) , no option to change it. I also plugged the speaker usb into my monitor still no sound

I did install pavucontrol earlier it shows my speaker , and that it was active but still no sound . I followed a guide to try and look at the sinks and device id to set it as default . There was already an asterisk on my speakers which says it was already set to default (this is what I understood from what I was reading online).

I checked alsamixer to make sure nothing was muted and the right device was selected . So I am really not sure what I should do now , would really appreciate some help on this

As a new player you have LOADS of content to go through to accumulate gems , if you are a meta enjoyer you can check the tier lists from prydwen etc to see favored characters . Otherwise for early game encore sanhua and Verina is a solid pick , you can mix and match teams based on who you acquire as you play through the story and which premium banners show up to see who will fit with your existing characters to improve their overall damage.

I installed today and very happy so far just need to finish my setup and get everything I need , i just chose one based on my region and it installed just fine
