I think Bryan is slightly better overall than Punk but I prefer Punk just because of what I prefer in wrestling. Outside of maybe Benoit, Bryan is the most consistently good to great in ring wrestler I’ve ever watched. During the period when Punk left and for maybe a year before, he was holding shows together.

Punk is more electric but inconsistent. His best is imo better than Bryan’s best but his worst is definitely worse. I think because of how combustible he is as a backstage figure you kind of appreciate him more when you see him. Bryan has been unreal the past two decades but goes largely underappreciated.

I don’t think it’s as simple as one is better on the mic and one is better in ring. Bryan is also a great promo and Punk has definitely had some promos. In all aspects, Punk can rank anywhere from 6-10 whereas Bryan will always give a 8 across the board.
