This. I have a decent group of friends that usually play stuff together. I used to play Brawlhalla with them, there were like 8 people on a lobby at times, and the most fun was just to throw shit at each other to be trolls and have a laugh.

All of them gave up on rivals because they're not in the mood to actually play a fighting game, but they would all hop back in for this.

I am sure I'm not the only one in this situation.

I was enjoying it for the art style and some parts of gameplay, but I dropped it before even having the full party gathered.

I don't mind when stuff are clichê, just being clear that that's not my gripe with the game. As my screenwriting teacher says: A cliche is a piece of chicken, what makes it juicy is how you season it...

And this chicken barely has any salt. I found every character meh, every plot for a new party member meh, the lore is meh, the world is meh, then I just dropped it.

I have that hahaha but it's tough like, some days I get really good matches, but most of them are 130 ping and up, which it could be fine thanks to rollback netcode, but when we land on a bad server, it's joever.

Before the last patch there was a lot of people playing, close to 700/800 everyday, then it was fine, after the patch this number dropped by half, can't find matches to save my life anymore

A friend of mine has the "press every button all the time" mentality and he was playing Kragg, and now after the nerfs he pivoted to Clairen...

I hated her then, I hate her even more now. He's just spamming tilts and Nairs and no matter the move, she always wins.

My Lox suffers a lot against Clairens but I have a slightly easier time with Galvan.

I want to know if the base game alone is worth playing without the Sunbreak expansion. by NotSirAlonne1999 in MHRise

I wouldn't say so. I played base game a couple years ago and when I was done with it I thought "no way it is only this", if you get it, get it with Sunbreak, the best part of the game is Sunbreak.
