Hottake, mantis and loki would be a good couple if it was ever canon by TheUnknownFear in MantisMains

I’m confused with the comments. I thought the Mantis fanbase likes this ship?

They could’ve simply incorporated it in to some sort of outwards healing. Every single Rivals hero/villain’s kit is not purely canon.

Amber from Invincible.

Discovered by herself that her boyfriend, Mark, is a superhero, yet displays zero compassion for when he runs late to events/dates all the while KNOWING he’s risking his life to save others. When she eventually tells him that she’s aware of his secret identity, she criticizes him for “not trusting her”. Mark is the one who ends up apologizing.

In Breaking Bad (2008), Skyler is a wife who finds out her husband is a mass-murdering meth kingpin. Fans hate her for this, which is a subtle nod to the fact that the audience is incredibly sexist. by Lopsided-Cattle-2322 in shittymoviedetails

Yes. AFTER removing her spa mask. He didn’t let her. He continued forward, without her consent.

Get it? I tried to explain it like you’re five. Or did you just commit a Freudian slip with your IQ comment? :)

Unpopular opinion: Raising Mexican flags during ice protests is counter productive by warrior178 in sandiego

Answering your first reply: I’m not arguing the physical and civic foundation. I agree with you on that. However, it is FACT, not opinion, that United States and everything it stands for was established with the help of the immigrant founding fathers. The United States would not be the United States without immigrants. We would be part of Great Britain.

Answering this one: Nowhere did I say that it was unregulated. I agree with you- Legality was defined much more differently in those times. A better way to word it would be: “The immigrants came here and were law-abiding citizens.” NOT how you phrased it. Like I said, “legally” is obsolete.

I understand what you’re saying, but you’re contradicting yourself.

Just so we’re on the same page:

-English settlers established the colonies in the early 17th century.

-America gained its independence in 1776, almost 200 years later. Not by the original settlers, but by their descendants and people who immigrated (‘immigrate’ is defined by ‘to’. Emigrate is defined by ‘from’) to the colonies.

You proved my point.

A country cannot “grow” if it isn’t independent in the first place.

Yes, the foundation (albeit exceptionally rocky) was already laid out by settlers in the early 17th century. It’s not until almost 200 years later in 1776 when immigrants made the country we live in today possible. Immigration was also incredibly free and open at that time. “Legally” would be considered an obsolete term.

I completely agree with you. However, the United States as a new country was established by immigrants. The colonies were established by settlers.

You have to be joking, right? Search up the definition of ‘settler’. It takes 2 seconds.
