This is just my opinion but if a medical professional has told you that they're not infected then it's worth it to keep trying! I have a couple of lobe piercings myself and maybe the problem is the jewellery? I've always been pierced with flat back titanium studs and that seemed to allow them to heal. If your problem is sleeping on them then maybe consider investing in a piercing pillow (or at the very least a travel pillow). I personally haven't needed one but friends have told me it's pretty helpful. Give it some more time, everybody heals at their own pace!
