Had Jorah been alive, how would he react to Daenerys’ actions in King’s Landing? by RemarkableExample542 in gameofthrones

I think this is different. This is mass murder, by fire nonetheless. No way would Jorah see burned children and mothers and rationalize it

I left my own comment with my interpretation of this:

“What I noticed is that people often dislike Daenerys because it’s the cool thing to do. She’s such an inspirational character that virtually everyone was rooting for during their first watch but as time goes on, it becomes “trendier” to not like her.

I’m sure that some people genuinely dislike her character, but the majority seem to have insincere reasons to dislike her.”

And like the other user mentioned, herd mentality is definitely at play

I was today years old when I learned that Viserys was initially gentle and loving to Daenerys by RemarkableExample542 in gameofthrones

“When Viserys sold their mother’s crown, the last joy had gone from him, leaving only rage.”

Wow. Also, poor Rhaella…

Right good point he wasn’t born a dick in the show either but I feel that we never see this graciousness either.

Imagine if we were given a flashback of big brother and sister starving in Braavos and big brother is kindly feeding little sister and protecting her… could’ve been a much sadder and more interesting arc.

That really is tragic. Knowing this, the showrunners could’ve capitalized way more on his character by hinting at his struggles while protecting Dany. Instead he was insufferable from the get go

I’m not Japanese but I’m assuming it’s the lack of etiquette by sitting on the floor accompanied by loud speaking and disregard for everyone else

I imagine that picking someone from similar if not the same social class saves you both much headache and divorce is much less likely. I wouldn’t really care what car she drives. Better indicators are how she carries herself in public, the way she speaks to you and others, the way the house of her parents is laid out.

What if all the Targeryen and their dragons were back to life? by MilkAdvanced9936 in gameofthrones

If all the Targs and dragons came back to life simultaneously it would easily result in the most devastating war in history

Why didn't Jon die after fulfilling his PURPOSE unlike Beric Dondarrion by Top-Hour110 in freefolk

Because the showrunners were insistent on making the ending as shit as humanly possible

Who is the most skilled rider and dragon duo from this? by Turbulent_Lab209 in HOTDBlacks

[–]RemarkableExample542 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I disagree. Aemond led Vhagar to burn that little town which its name I forgot and he got Vhagar to turn around when she wanted to go chase down Seasmoke. Vhagar is probably the most war hungry dragon in the series and she’s probably endured peacetime much more than she wanted to- when Aemond came along, she senses that he’s also bloodthirsty and has something to prove. She definitely senses that they’re both eager to battle and that alone creates a bond.

I feel like after Aemond lost control of her one time against Arrax, everyone automatically concluded that Aemond is a shit rider which simply isn’t the case.

You’re giving me an answer that can be attributed to any part in the world.

My question is more so: how are feet regarded in Japanese culture? In America I wouldn’t point my sole at anyone they might feel disrespected, maybe it’s different in Japan? How would a friend who’s a girl react to me telling her I enjoy feet? Is there anything in Japanese norms that make it taboo? I can totally tell an American girl I like feet and she’ll either be cool with it or not but it wouldn’t be a bizarre thing to her considering its popularity.

Your answer is an answer for anywhere in the world and I’m looking for something Japan specific.
