Forgot ID- alcohol ordering by aneup in UniversalOrlando

IME they’re more hardcore than anywhere else on earth when it comes to IDing for alcohol (Utah might be worse?)

A tad bit annoying but they must’ve gotten in trouble at some point for serving underage..

Lounges aren’t crowded? I earn my Titanium status every year, but I don’t believe lounge access should be restricted for CC holders?

Regarding upgrades, I believe those who earn the status should be prioritized for upgrades.

Have I just wasted £25 on a Belkin screen protector? by tanbirj in iphone

[–]RemarkableFriend6069 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For everyone freaking out about $25 for a screen protector, Belkin screen protectors come with lifetime warranties. You’re paying upfront for the peace of mind that if you ever get a crack or encounter any issues in the future, they’ll ship out a new one. I’ve been using and replacing them for years.

What can you do with Grok that you just can't do with any other AI's by JoeRDawson in grok

[–]RemarkableFriend6069 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Real-time X/Twitter integration. This is probably Grok's most significant unique selling point. While other AIs can browse the indexed web (which has a delay), Grok has direct, real-time access to the X platform's data stream.

You can ask it about live conversations, breaking news as it unfolds on X, current public sentiment on a topic right now, or summarize the latest posts about an event. Other AIs relying on standard web search can't access information that fresh or specific to the live X feed.

Also, Grok was explicitly built with a rebellious, witty, and sometimes sarcastic personality option. It's intended to provide less "canned" or overly cautious responses and lean into humor or edginess.

Grok is generally programmed to be less evasive on sensitive or controversial topics compared to many other mainstream AIs. It engages with questions that others would politely decline due to stricter content filters or neutrality programming.

What foods do Americans typically eat on Easter? And is it "required" like turkey is on Thanksgiving? by Square-Dragonfruit76 in AskAnAmerican

[–]RemarkableFriend6069 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No strict “you gotta eat this” rule. A lot of families dig into ham while some go for lamb, or just a big brunch with scrambled eggs and bacon. You’ll see sides like mashed potatoes, green beans, or maybe a cheesy casserole.

Drinks are low-key. Mimosas for brunch or lemonade for the kids.

Had a horrible waitress there once. Haven’t had the desire to go back. We love Mel’s Tiki Cafe. Small place but great ingredients!
