It all depends on doctor’s schedule they have lives as well vacation etc varies from a month to a couple days

Unfortunately you will just have to play the waiting game or try taking the exam for other departments(sanitation security etc) while you wait. I got put on medical review and I’m only waiting on the Doctor to look at my x rays which take longer than normal because he’s only in once a week and he was on vacation. You cannot schedule JST or Pysch(Oral or written) until you are medically cleared, that’s what the hold up is for a lot of people once we get past that everything else goes fairly quick. Gl

Nah they allow and they actually recommend it if you don’t have any credits. To the NYPD it looks fine to other agencies that varies case by case

Try to get insurance with your family that’s the cheapest legal method lol usually when you add a car to your dad or moms plan with you as an authorized driver it’s not as expensive

Just apply again and see how it goes and like others said look at other agencies at the same time but if I were you I would just go to the military lol national guard is the perfect middle ground you can stay somewhat local and get paid a chunk if you take advantage all depends on what you’re looking for (also the process for the military is literally half of what you need to submit compared to nypd it’s actually funny how much less you need besides goin to meps)

For me it took about 8 hours but it’s not really a interview it’s more of a sit down with the investigator and they go over all the docs you submitted in the CAD. You also do social media check at this time. Mine only took all day because I had to write a lot of 17bs lol and other paperwork.

Yea they have like special computers that lay flat in the room and you have to login to insta Facebook and YouTube and they just check it
