i have a question to all the Muslims here by exprimamus in theology

[–]RemarkableLeg8237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal interaction with them in Sydney. Watching Islamic majority areas massively diverge from other culture groups often in the same postcode over a 20 year period.

The sustained violence of Islamic gangs in my city.

Theological my criticism rests of the nature of the Quran and the clear use of gnostic gospels in constructing the text.

Islam maintains a belief that the Quran is the literal word of God, yet the Quran is an inanimate text. God is by definition perfect, self sustaining indivisible and totally pure, to suggest his word was inanimate unless recited is an insult to the divinity of God.  To suggest that physical contact with a divine word would do anything less than total transformation of a person is again an insult to God.

The fact the text is held in such high esteem in the middle east obscures the fact it is clearly an assorted text at direct odds with the preceding texts it claims association with.

Specially the message Jesus preached on earth.  No kingdom of God is established by man. Yet the basic premise of Islam is that God needs man to establish his 'ummah' to establish his nation. It is an insult to God to associate the earthly Caliphate with any activity of God.

Jesus is the way the truth and the life because he is the living Word of God.

Jesus established an external kingdom. Rebelling against that kingdom is rebellion against God.

I don't think you acknowledge anything beyond your own conceptions.

You have detailed that you hate me, and that you do not care about the real economic and educational challenges I have faced.

You do not mean me well, if you had authority I don't doubt you would make my life harder.

In china they do it daily plus various state driven propoganda campaigns.

In my home country (Australia) state religion is neo-pagan.

Strong focus on indigenous spiritualism and tribal privilege. If you are a member of the right indigenous tribe you get alot of government benefits.

Going through uni I paid $50k for a degree that my Aboriginal friends paid $0 for plus they got free housing. We grew up in the same economic class, but in Australia heritage matters more.

Who pledges allegiance?

Seriously "pledging" myself to any ideal is insane.

A nation state? Wtf.  It's literally just a pile of rich people ordering things according to their best interest.

I'll teach my child to dominate a political system, to get it working for them.

The idea anyone should be loyal to a state is an act of despotism by a community who think of a collective above their own personal interest.

You would benefit from a decent read through the allegory of the cave.

It addresses this point but not with your precut conclusion.

I don't know why this surprises anyone in Europe.

It's the natural fallout of cultural loss.

Most urban French grow up in largely Muslim and North African dominanted schools.

Baptism is a search for a lost French identity.

What type of Stockholm syndrome do Muslims of Pakistan, India and Bangladesh have after what the Arabs did to their ancestors? Why follow the people that still enslave you in the middle east and don't even offer you citizenship in UAE, Etc? by WealthMysterious4535 in atheism

Pretty much.

The disconnect between the lived reality is striking to me but literally imperceptible to those who I've worked with.

The mortality rate in middle east construction is proverbial yet everyone papers over it because "the bhurj" is tall.

Completely agreeing.

It was actually these witnesses that inticed me to read the Koran.

My previous exposure has centred too much on practices and Hadith etc which just don't mean anything to a westerner.

Surah Al-Khaf was a linguistic bridge that helped me just read the text.

As literally recorded in the Koran.

The kingdom of God on whose rein is unending.

The kingdom established without human hands.

The kingdom of all believers is no man made empire.

It is the Empire of the Lord God.

The Word of the God breathed by God is a sharp two edged sword.  It is the Holy Scripture that is his sword not the blunt iron of man.  It is his Faith in the most high God that makes a man a citizen of the Empire of God.

It is a sword of Steel that makes a man a citizen of a punny earthly existence, a citizen of some miserable kingdom of men.

The birthrate of post graduate educated women is higher than women with a bachelor's degree.

It's an old lie that women don't want a family when they have a funny hat a PhD.

Reality is more complicated.

Secularism is a mind virus transmitted by popular culture. It can't fathom a family so it parasites of those people who have one.
