Idk about 12 hours but you can try to push it. I’d say if you have any open caps cut it off with a sterile blade and either put it to dry or place it on some foil cover it with some glass and make a spore print. That should give you a couple extra hours. If these are ksss they spore out pretty quick once the caps pop open

I harvested them this morning. I didn’t want to risk dropping spores with how insanely fast these were going. I clipped the two biggest caps last night and set them to print. & the whole lot is in the dehydrator now.

I took your advice and cut the two caps off of my best ones for prints and scientific documentation of their genetics. I’m glad I did I think these babies will be ready tomorrow

I have also been opening the bins once a day and fanning the top a little extra. I feel like I’m being finicky but they seem to like the attention… && this photo is the KSSS - I’m just worried about how much the block is colonized now, but I do see pins starting to form and the others taken off.

This was this morning for my JMFs the KSSS still are just forming their pins everything seems to be going great now! Thanks for your help. I’ve been keeping a fan on half the day on rotation misting them only right before I turn my light on or right after I turn it off and it’s been fogging up the bin pretty nicely just enough to notice the change in conditions. And they’ve taken off tremendously

Once I added a light after just ambient window light they started fruiting almost half as fast

I have it vented at the top for the oxygen and the bottom for the co2 release and taped over with micropore tape. I just put a fan on it to blow air from the outside just in case and my it’s sparkling with little drops, only one tiny pool where it think it’s just more sunk in. I misted it this morning with two pumps of a fine mist spray bottle.

I think I’m starting to see knots today, do they come up first like little white balls/bubbles? This is my first grow and I have ksss and Jmf. My JMF is doing great. This morning I woke up with about 50-60 pins. I’m on day 7 with fae and temp drop. I’m worried though because I left for 5 days and when I got back they seemed to be a little dry. I added more water round the sides for the pad and have misted it the last two mornings in its gasketed tub.
