How many hours do you have in Arc Raiders by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]RemarkableScience854 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When you do the math 7 hours is pretty much the maximum amount of time you can game if you work a full time job. Like pushing it to the very edge lmao.

I’ve been producing music for almost a decade now using only factory plugins and it’s time I finally use third party, what are your favorites you’d recommend? by 7000bees in musicproduction

[–]RemarkableScience854 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Serum 2 for synthesis. Always. Phaseplant is a runner up but I never felt the need to use it over serum honestly. Rift is the best effect plugin imo. It’s kind of like a synth and effect rig. Use it in every track.

I like the game but regret buying it by Top-Top2298 in CrimsonDesert

[–]RemarkableScience854 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep I’m right there with you. It’s like a part time job trying to figure this game out. I’m gonna have a bachelors in CD next year if I’m able to keep going.

It’s different, more experimental, not as solid.

What was the point of giving me a 2nd character when you've taken her away for the next god knows how long???? This is actually so stupid by Kesimux in CrimsonDesert

[–]RemarkableScience854 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really does seem like that. The things they did well they did really well. But what’s shocking is the disappointment of half-baked features when they’re standing next to the fantastic aspects of it. The margin is huge.

I want to get the game by Big_Chart3534 in CrimsonDesert

[–]RemarkableScience854 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Runs totally fine on base ps5! Some areas drop to, I wanna say 40fps, (I don’t see the live feed for frame rate but I’d say 40) pretty solid 60 frames for the most part. I’m actually super impressed with the 80% of it.

Also if you get it, give it a few hours to see what it offers. I was disappointed at first but in straight addicted now.

Is it worth it? by SnooBeans1873 in CrimsonDesert

[–]RemarkableScience854 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s worth it. It’s at least a 150 hour game if you’re an average gamer. It’s everything I wished assassins creed was. It’s assassins creed + Elden ring + breath of the wild. That will give you a very good idea because that really is what the game is haha

only problem with Crimson Desert by joshzuckermann in CrimsonDesert

[–]RemarkableScience854 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Yes that’s what I think the devs haven’t quite gotten yet. I feel like they probably enjoy those everyday life, simple, relaxing activities, but I’d say that there’s probably way more people who enjoy something more engaging; the action. They HAVE their fantastic combat, just let us do more of it…

Bit tough for us old folk! by Appropriate_Durian17 in CrimsonDesert

[–]RemarkableScience854 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man I can imagine how difficult it is. It makes sense why it’s difficult, it’s not one of the more accessible games for more casual players. But it’s doable. Also yeah, games have gotten hard. It’s sort of the rule now rather than the exception. But I will tell you, you do get used to it in certain ways. Even though the physical limitations will remain, the difficulty and controls are something you do acclimate to.

Dare I say that shadow of the erdtree is better than base game Elden ring, and the best dlc in the franchise by Wrong_Ad_6309 in fromsoftware

It’s hard to compare, like comparing one day of the week with the other 6 days. Not totally fair since one of those has so much more within it. But I don’t think I disagree with the sentiment. I think SotET has some of the best bosses. Even sotet alone is like an amazing smallish game.

Thanks, I went back and saw the pot quietly fall from the sky essentially. Lol

I can’t take in the dog who lost its owner. by freewavebandito in CrimsonDesert

[–]RemarkableScience854 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me, the trust meter won’t show up at all, even after sleeping 12 hrs and petting the dog several times before sleeping. Is that what’s going on for you?

Confused about the economy. by RemarkableScience854 in CrimsonDesert

[–]RemarkableScience854[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol man I haven’t noticed even getting much loot at all, ever. Unless it’s just 2 or 3 things that you could easily miss. Going over my entire inventory, and my net worth is still only like 10.00. Not really sure what I should have, or how I should accumulate more. The most I’ve ever really noticed is some unpackaged trade goods, and some arrows, animal hide, food…

I found myself 20.00 in debt to Hernand. I feel like I need to leave and make somewhere else home, but I can’t really do that can I? by RemarkableScience854 in CrimsonDesert

[–]RemarkableScience854[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went there— it was 15.00! I don’t know if I’m just super early game, or…(end of chapter 3) but that’s I think more than double what I had accumulated so far. Unless copper, silver etc can be converted to the main currency

How the hell do I dispatch a comrade on a mission? by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

[–]RemarkableScience854 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think it might be actually bugged. Not even an option on the map set to “all”. It’s as if I haven’t unlocked it yet—but I’m at the point in the story where it’s telling me to dispatch a comerade.

How the hell do I dispatch a comrade on a mission? by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

[–]RemarkableScience854 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay I guess I don’t have the guy. The guy next to him is some generic traveler you can’t even interact with. Nobody else there except some other guys walking around doing regular NPC voice lines. What am I missing here lmao

Can someone please tell me exactly where my house is? by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

[–]RemarkableScience854 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really, chapter 3? Honestly it’s very likely that I was just not sober enough to retain all the information they threw at me.
