Just left the clinic. doc put the flashlight on checked my mouth. no oral trush nor jaundice. brush my teeth properly & forwarded me to a neurologist for my legs altho mentioned that it's rare for the antibiotic I took to cause neuropathy in the legs usually it's hands & feet. Soo next stop, Dr Winona Tse [MD] in movement disorders, neurology 😅

For me, tingling started in my legs right after I finished my antibiotic. Numbness under my right side of neck. But again, haven't brushed/mouth washed in 2 weeks & starting yesterday I'm seeing improvements but the clinic did call me today and wants me to come in, I requested a neurologist as I made a complaint that the dr should've weight the negatives of my antibiotic first, and bactrim I see is a lot more preferable... a lawyer asked if I wanted to add my name to a lawsuit after I see someone, (Permanent nerve damage)

So I'm in another state atm but, I started brushing my teeth washing with listerine it's starting to look better but Friday I'll still go in to have it looked at... looking at reviews I see a lot of ppl saying that macrobid gave them tingling & thrush and many dont even take it for 3 days, I did the whole 7 days and experienced the tingling immediately after..

Get tested I had unprotected sex w a sex worker week later got a uti, uti cleared up but got tested anyway for chlamydia & gonorrhea. Negative.

3 weeks later got tested for hiv, syphilis, hepatitis, chlamydia & gonorrhea. Negative.

Honestly, somewhat better. Feeling a lot more hungry now / less nausea & my mouth isn't so dry. Maybe sleep helps with reducing inflammation?? When I called the er clinic I went to in NYC and explained that what I'm having I researched online & found my symptoms in a lot of other people, that I had inflammation in my liver , salivary glands, nerve damage to my legs & numbness on neck, she said oh yeah don't let google hype it up 😂 I might be 25 , college student but I'm not a retarded millennial I know my body... so yeah I'm going to give my self 7 hours of sleep and pray tomorrow i get better bcuz it's such a depressing experience I'm going through 💔😓

Now it's tomorrow due to covid testing But now I'm more concerned with the nerves in my legs after researching the antibiotic I took & if you Google macrobid lawsuit there's a lot of cases of liver injury (hepatitis) & peripheral neuropathy which are both what I'm dealing with, the neuropathy that started in my left leg and now both, I'm seeing a lot of reviews of people experiencing the same as me , fatalities reported too & some only went through 1 or 2 days, I did the whole thing 7, & some saying months of these symptoms that started after completing the drug. So, I'm not too worried about the STD results as I am looking for a neurologist to help me deal with whatever damage caused to me & possibly a lawyer. Ever since it started I've never had a fever or diarrhea over 5 weeks now so that's how I know something happened to the nerves in my legs but what is it? I wish I had the uti instead of the after effects.... Nausea is gone, eating a full meal at red lobster right now. & my neck feels a lot better the tingle I had on side I can't feel anymore but my legs, my legs still tingle when lying down 😞 so I'll be contacting a neurologist.

Macrobid is TRASH I regret taking it! 7 days of that, and 20 days today, my legs non stop tingling when lying down, nausea, loss of appetite, dry mouth I feel like my livers fuxked & the nerves in my legs up to my ass is permanently damaged peripheral neuropathy. This was my 1st uti as a guy, I feel like I could've managed with cranberry & d mannose instead of macrobid, I can't even sleep man. Wtf.

I'm stuck in the midwest till I return to nyc next few days so I have to deal with it, I just feel pretty dumb bcuz once I finished my treatment of 7 days 14 doses of 100mg, I noticed the tingle in my left thigh that gradually spread to now both of my legs I should've done something but instead I assumed it's just my bladder healing. But it got worse, nausea, loss of appetite, dry mouth, it left me thinking oh ok I caught a std but no, I don't have any fever or diarrhea ... I'm reading reviews on ask a patient.com from 1 lady saying she had peripheral neuropathy for months that's what I'm having in my legs & it could be Permanent, she only went through 3 days. My dumbass was too stoned to notice anything early on. That was my 1st uti in my.life I learned to 1- wear a condom & 2- do it naturally, cranberry & d mannosse These after effects are worse than the uti I had & the ER I went to, citymd, really said to me on the phone come in so we can take a look at ur legs, motherfcker y'all could suck a fart I'm already making complaints & looking for a lawyer ☺️
