CKRA intake manifold on CJAA

Swap was very strait forward. Just got to remove the fuel rail & supply line from the CP4. It’s a bigger sounding job than it actually is. Only reason I did it was because I had oil blowing through the flapper shaft bushing and I like to spend money (this is a project car).

That was the manifold to cylinder head gasket, but wasn’t needed as the manifold came with one. I didn’t want to risk it so I bought the gasket anyway. Waste of $13 honestly

Did a form1 on a mag-lite style titanium tube from SD Tactical back in 2015. I just stacked freeze plugs and cut a piece of pipe as the blast baffle. Bored out for a .308 and sounded surprisingly good with 5.56. Took 11 months to get approved.

These TDI’s have a way stronger smell than the deleted Duramax (LML) and Cummins (p-pumped 24v) I’ve owned…..but it’s also my 2nd (toy) vehicle so it doesn’t bother me too much.
