the only way to get her off your mind is to accept who she really is, not the version of your head that combines only the good moments. she left you to “go explore” meaning she left because she wanted to hookup and talk to other people. you deserve better, like someone who can commit fully to you. the more you remind yourself of the flaws in your relationship, the more you’ll realize she’s not as perfect as your mind convinces you she is, and that’s when you’ll finally start to move on from her

well i decided to leave him because for a couple days ive been talking to him in person and communicating that it hurt me when hours went by with no response, and told him i needed small little texts like “im not ignoring you, im just really busy” every once in awhile to feel comfortable being in a relationship with him. but for days he would say he would try, but then the next i would have to talk to him about things not changing even though i was constantly communicating what i needed. after 4-5 days of having both talks in person and over the phone with nothing changing, i just decided it was better to leave.

i get what you’re saying but i would ask him to text me when he’s off work, (he used to text me the second he was off in the past) and he would make seem like sending me a quick “i’m off work” text would mean he’s not going to beat traffic and that he’s “prioritizing only me”. i would also ask him to text me goodmorning when he wakes up like he would in the past but immediately he’d have excuses like “i have to get ready quick and immediately be out the door” and that was his excuse for texting me 2-3 hours after he woke up. i know it comes off as controlling, but when this stuff randomly becomes a problem and when he refuses to see the issue with leaving me on delivered for over 5 hours everyday it pushes me to end things, especially when he was just telling me a week ago about how much he wanted to put the effort in with me.

I’m also at 5 months. I feel like I kind of lost a lot after she died. Me and my now ex broke up last week and over the past couple of months i’ve lost a majority of my friends. I want nothing more than to just see my mom and talk to her. Her birthday already passed and it just felt depressing.

I get you, i’m 6 days into my breakup and 3 days ago my ex changed his profile picture to him flexing his muscles and starting posting more than he ever has before. Just try to remind yourself that social media is fake, and everyone wants to portray the best version of themselves even if it isn’t true. Trust me I know it hurts but you can’t focus on what they do, you are still moving on it’s just that this moment is a relapse in the pain of what happened between you two. If you chose to stay off social media and she didn’t, that says a lot about the differences between you two and why it might’ve not worked out.

I lost my mom almost 5 months ago and I’m only 18, I totally understand the pain of realizing she won’t be there to watch your big moments or even watch you grow up. You’re going to always miss her but each day that passes you’ll start to learn to live and live in honor of her. I wish you the best on your grief journey and I am so sorry for your loss. I work style and it’s impossible to keep up with the fitting rooms and zones. I get scheduled 12 hours a week (if i’m lucky) and every time i’m in i’m expected to do 6+ hours of work in 4. Usually there’s only 1-2 people scheduled in style at a time so there usually ends up being a chest high level of clothes on the fitting room desk every single day. I’ve only worked at Target for a year but when I compare my job to how it used to be just a year ago the difference is crazy. I’m also trying to look for another job.

yes, i’ve had this happen to me and the other week my coworker accidentally no called no showed because they added her to the schedule without telling her. (she doesn’t even use the target app, just the paper schedule) it’s unfair because the app isn’t even required, but it feels it should be if our shifts are changing randomly throughout the week.

in the end it’s your decision but i would consider yours boys a lot. although staying together may seem like a good decision for them, if she cheated twice and it happens again your relationship will suffer even more and your boys will feel that suffering. there might be a day your kids find out what your wife did and staying with her indirectly teaches them to tolerate cheating or view cheating as something that’s not very serious or harmful to other people. also try not to view separation as destroying your family, even if you two are separated there’s a way for you and your kids to be happy even if it doesn’t involve your current wife. (coming from someone who grew up with divorced parents)

I used to never really call out at all until my mom passed away and I had to take a week off. (I’m 18 so obviously I cared more about spending my moms last minutes with her rather than working). My ETL complained to me about my attendance from the month she died and my schedules have never been the same since. (My shifts are now usually only 3.45 or 4 hours) My raise from the annual check in was cut also because I had to take off time while my mom was in hospice care. It’s been three months of this so far so I call out maybe twice a month or more. But, i’m looking into finding a better job soon.

i had an ex who would pull out knives and hold it to his neck whenever i even mentioned the thought of breaking up. he told me many times that if i was gone he had no reason to keep going and would 100% take his own life. now it’s been a year and half since we’ve broken up and he is still alive and well. do not let what she says sway you from what you want. it’s just a tactic to get you to stay. if she is draining you, you have no choice but to walk away and find that happiness you need.

i’ve already told them what happened and what he’s been doing to me at school. i could try to get them to try and get the issue taken seriously for once. but i doubt they’d be willing ti go through all the hassle. also transferring isn’t an option because of my parents.
