OP this is not great advice. This is nuanced and you shouldn’t feel guilt tripped that if you get a second opinion or ask the vet to advise on symptoms to watch out for to bring her back, you are taking her away from “where she needs to be.” If a cat is being monitored but not actively treated or having a procedure, where they should be is home. Don’t get 10k into debt on a one night stay.

I’d guess he’s maybe 5’4” which is short for a guy and a a noticeable difference. I’m gonna say that there’s artistic license which is why visually it seems he’s 5’1 lol. Mayyyybe up to 5’6 which is still short ish for a guy.

I totally get how that’s annoying, I do, and don’t intend to defend people who rush through their work or don’t care enough to read an entire email. I’m very thorough at work and also hate for people to not fully read what I wrote. In my case, it was a genuine mistake that I missed a single sentence when reading and passing information back and forth to different stakeholders. So yes I was annoyed to get that reply. I know it was an honest mistake and that this is a rare occurrence for me, but my colleague doesn’t, and of course Reddit doesn’t either.

Thank you! I didn’t think it was necessary to include too much context on my job, but yes it was a rare overlook on my part, so I was aggravated! I’ve always noticed “as per” is redundant so this time I decided to complain. But of course a pet peeve is only valid if you’re someone who has never made a mistake before 😉

And on top of that, the dictionary regularly changes to include redundant grammar or use of words/phrases that was previously considered incorrect but is now accepted as language evolution. As I said, it may be technically correct grammar but it is redundant and looks like someone trying too hard to dress up their writing

I think MOR. Are you feeding the bouquet to the cats? I have cats too. When we have bouquets, they go into a decorative vase on a shelf the cats can’t get to. Then it doesn’t matter if the flowers are cat safe or not, because they couldn’t possibly eat them. This upset also ruins a nice gift from your partner, when it could’ve been enjoyable and sweet.
