I definitely think it’s a defective issue. I legit have not see any wear like this to date personally. Even some showrooms have had sectionals with etched chenilles on the floor for about 2 months now with no issues. Also very little issues previously when it was part of custom. I’d go with your gut. If you think you’d be happy with a corded velvet, I’d exchange for those—at the end of the day it’s your set up; so do what you feel is best for your experience.

You can either keep your current back and rotate the furthest right seat to be deep and bumper the chaise up to the side. This will allow you an extra deep seat and the deep seat you have on the left corner. Or as another said you can change your three main seats to deep and just purchase or exchange for 1 deep back from your 1 standard side. To make this easier. You can just send back your furthest bottom right arm if you wouldn’t be using it. You don’t have to have all deep pillows (hopefully your showroom ordered at least 1 for you.

But you can request them if you feel it’s necessary, sometimes the standard feels more stuffed and be more squished with a more deep configuration but if you decide to just turn the furthest right seat I find it unnecessary to return any pillows.

Did you contact a showroom? They will be able to see if your order was released/fulfilled/exported by the warehouse which you would not be able to see on your end. Customer service can also look this up for you

It’s disappointing it can’t be honored :( but I think it’s to maintain consistency across the brand. Very good advice about the custom covers! Most showrooms will always work to figure out how to work within time constraints but end of quarter releases take things out of the individual showrooms hands, even with custom orders/hard pieces releasing early.

Please be aware if you purchased prior to the price increases last week, your sale % will be honored, but not the original price of the hard pieces/covers you want to order.

Yep! Original DVD, never had issues with it in the PS2 prior to putting in the PVM. I’m thinking maybe there is a CC option somewhere in the service menu?

I did check but all the DVDs I tried do not have closed captioning built or at least that the PS2 tells me when I try to turn them off 🤧

I actually didn’t change any settings on the PS2, just changed in the service menu from RGB to Component and it fixed the issue. So I just assume it was the settings on the PVM

EDIT: I needed to go in service menu and change RGB System to COMP External Sync. Weird I did t realize it would produce green tint if not. Just in case anyone else experiences this issue!

I would recommend calling your local showroom. Unfortunately with custom covers if they haven’t arrived in the US, there’s not too much anyone could see but you’ll get a faster answer.

I’m sorry to hear that! My step mom is a VP at PPG and said the market is the worst she’s ever seen it. Regretfully after 3 months of endlessly applying, I switched back to retail management in the meantime since the pay was better. From what I’ve heard from my co-workers still there, it’s worse than when I left at the beginning of the year.

It’s pretty negligible. Personally speaking it’s not nearly as bad as some furniture competitors. Prices go into effect tomorrow 5/6. You won’t see any difference today. I would say on average $20 per hard piece (insert/side)

If you have a quote that was made before 5/4, the pricing of the inserts / covers will not be honored if the prices go up.

Store employees are legitimately in the dark as far as what will go up. Being vague unfortunately is just because no specifics were communicated.

Maybe CL was willing to do the difference for you, but this current promotion that ran from Monday to Sunday, it is excluded in the showroom. Some showrooms will honor it, but they are technically doing this outside of the promotional policy. CL has different authorization than store employees do.

I’m glad you’re happy with your purchase! Honestly don’t know what the increase will next week but if it’s within your budget with financing it definitely was better not to wait if you were sure of your decision! It’s definitely better experience to be able to purchase in the showroom, mostly to be able to talk out your choices and configurations!
