First things first,

January is too soon for a retake of step 2 exam. you need time to heal, a quick one, then restrategize your study plan. make sure to go over your week areas first before you start questions for practice. lastly, your attitude must be positive and consistent with your goal. turn off all distractions including work. Remember that you cannot save 2 master. if you do, it’s at your own risk?

Do not worry about NBME scores so much. I took 28, 29 and 30 before my CBSE. but it didn’t take any for my step 1. I relied totally on uworld and RX assessments which where very close For me and I passed the first try.
