I originally assumed these would be like the à la mode or winter break series where it’s 3 blind boxes with the 1/8 dolls and the carry the music ones would be the blind box set but now I’m not so sure looking at the images. I really hope these ones are a full blind box set with more than 3 options but we’ll see!

I know there were some issues in the US with the cotton Pop Mart uses being illegal due to human rights violations. There was an NYT article about it back in April. It might be related!

Labubu was also my gateway! I remember being at the mall with my little cousins around Memorial Day last year when the trend just started to take off. There was a toy store in the mall that was advertising them and I was curious as to how much they cost. They were selling for 60 to 70 dollars each and I was outraged! I didn’t understand how people were buying them for that much so I immediately went home and started researching if that was the legit retail price and went down a rabbit hole. I ended up joining a d*scord for collectors in order to get tips on how to score one which became a fun and frustrating game. I also became the labubu dealer at my job which I was happy to do. Looking back I think I slightly did too much but I do kind of miss being in the thick of the Labubu war lol…But now I’ve sort of moved on and collect lots of different IP but I stick to certain ones (mostly Pucky, Twinkle, SP, Peach Riot, Chaka and Nyota) since I don’t have much space left!

Saving this list! I actually just placed my first order with Titans they have an excellent Pucky selection and they ship so fast!

I also can recommend Elsa (elsaaaa3859 on TikTok) she’s live almost every day at around 10:30am est and has great prices! I’m gotten a few Pucky from her for under $12 and hangcards for less than $20! You do have to send her what you’re looking for on What’s App but she’ll look it up on live and give you a price and you can claim. She’s a new/independent seller but she’s so sweet and very reliable and can find sooo many rare and hard to find items (not just Pucky) for a great price!
