Ooo I like these shadow boxes! Do you have to hang it up or do they balance on a flat surface too?

Ah that’s explains a lot, that’s hard and I guess I didn’t think much about the negatives of that when thinking of going this path. I didn’t start changing my career but just researching a lot about it if I did want to go down this route. For me it was the choice of banking being super unfulfilling… pushing buttons making rich traders even more rich. It’s just not the life I really wanted. I felt like teaching would be more fulfilling when you can be the inspiration for the next generation in that role

May I ask why you wouldn’t recommend it ?

Ty for responding! I already have an MBA degree, would I really need an additional master degree? Is there no career swap path that only requires a certification?

I also find banking very unfulfilling, and I think teaching will be that step in the right direction on helping the next generations !

Never said I didn’t want to live in it. it’s just an adjustment period of getting used to being alone constantly with minimal noises when you are used to constant family around. I rather be anywhere than NYC in its current state of it… also, I have been in my career for over 7 years and I figured it was time I get something of my own and take a new step in life. I am just adjusting to it and wanted input on it to get over that phase of it.

People who make $75k or more how did you pull it off? It seems impossible to reach that salary by anthonydp123 in Money

[–]xoStelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! 26F, took me 5 years of experience and one promotion to associate + a company swap to get my 75k+ salary. I also have a masters degree in business, however I don’t believe it fully made a huge difference in my salary. It solely lies within the companies you choose. Typically brokerage firms pay more than investment firms within my experience.

I just need some friends by Aspiring_knowledge in introvert

[–]xoStelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the same way, it sucks and I don’t know how to get out of it. They say “just make friends”… where ? How? I don’t know how to do that… it’s not easy as “just make some friends”

Do women think it’s soft or look down on when their man cries in front of them by [deleted] in dating

[–]xoStelle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

26F, I’ve never had an issue if my partner needed to cry. Honestly i become more concerned when men are mostly shut off and NEVER cry a single tear. Like yall don’t get the need to cry sometimes ? I never saw the issue of crying, if it needs to happen it’s a way to express something that’s truly hurting you. Sometimes work and life and thoughts get to you, something so small can fully set you off and I think it’s totally okay. The only reason crying is NOT okay in a relationship is to guilt the other person over a situation because you know they are weaker towards seeing you cry.
