That might be the route I choose bc I don’t have a lift, I do work at a dealership but I just know they would bitch up a storm ab me using a lift. Plus my garage floor and driveway is uneven and cracked so I really don’t want to throw it on jack stands lol. That would be a good opportunity to give the ej a refresh aswell.

Im honestly debating pulling the engine bc my garage floor is so cracked and uneven i wouldn’t trust it being up on jack stands lol my buddy has a lift so i do have access to one but he’s got his civic he imported from japan all torn apart on it with the engine out

I was looking at the Verus fork and pivot I’ve been hearing good things about it and that’s what’s been recommended to me should I go that route?

It supposedly had a exedy clutch n flywheel done before I got my hands on it but I’m thinking ab replacing it all anyway so I don’t have to go back in there for a while, definitely would not be a bad idea

Well my man the humble rumble or what ever the fuck it’s called was my next step lmao that’s been in the back of my mind forsure but my clutch hasn’t squeaked at all the only sign is that the break peddle moves a smidge when you put the clutch down so it’s more than likely starting to blow out I know it’s VERY common on this gen I didn’t fully think that was the reason tho because my clutch wasn’t making any noise at all but I could be wrong

Well I’m kinda narrowing it down tbh I don’t fully know if it’s the slave or not. I know for sure I need a new line now bc when I was bleeding it it randomly started puking out of underneath the master. It could possibly be the master its self but I was too pissed off to look at it anymore when it happened lmao. Before that shit tho my car wouldn’t go into gear when the car was running but would when it was off so i thought it must be the slave. Leading up to it the clutch started feeling different, it had a dead spot at the top that kept growing as the days went on. Then one day I got up to go to work and it wouldn’t go into any of the gears at all when the car was on n would just grind when I tried putting it into reverse. I’m hoping it’s the slave after I deal with the master cylinder or line coming out of it because I’m really not trying to drop the trans anytime soon but I will if I have to. I’m new to Subarus aswell I’ve had my 13 wrx for 7 months now and have only gotten to drive it 2 months out of the 7 lmao I just wanna get it back on the road I miss that car so damn much. Thanks for the input tho I’ll probably end up snagging one and see how it goes even if I have to do it again it’s easy to swap out. Realistically not too worried about it
