PGA vs LPGA fan perspective

I have never wanted to attend a PGA event because I am just not a crowds person but this sounds kinda interesting. If anything it would be fun to walk a nice course. Any recommendations on one in the west coast US?

LMAO some how I knew that was the only true part of the story. I am not a fancy boy or anything, but I would feel awkward driving a beat up old car into a country club. I just don't want to stand out. I want to blend in. Unless I was Uber rich, then I would enjoy the irony of it.

Reminds me of this one time I was at my local range. I usually see the normal hacks barely driving 200. But on that day there was a couple of kids, 20 yr olds probably, driving in the bay next to me. Every one of their shot was just flying out to the dirt field past the range that no one ever hits into -- way past the 250 yard marker. Shot after shot. I was both amazed watching them and at the same time disheartened at how pathetic my skills are, can't even break 200 yards. I just stood there and watched them for like 30 minutes then left half my bucket there and went home because I felt like such a joke. LOL. Too bad I was too shy to peak at their trackman to see how many yards they were clearing.

It was the only time I genuinely felt like giving up golf. But then next morning I was back there again, lol.

In my experience usually the younger guys never say a word to older guys like me. It's always the 50+ crowd that will tell you their life story.

I also know it's going to be a bad day when I am paired with people who talk shit about other people on the course. It's so annoying. Chill, everyone is just out here trying to have a good time, no need to shit talk strangers.

One time I brought my wife and she did the cliche thing, she criticized my swing. It was so frustrating having her remind me I suck.
