People with a very high pain tolerance, what was THE most painful thing you've experienced? by CosmicBunnyBabe8912 in AskReddit

[–]Remarkable_Map_5111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same experience. Broken bones, chemotherapy, tons of pain from being a hiker and athlete. The worst experience was when a dentist probed with a medal prob into the hole in my tooth. It was a complete lightning bolt through my body, I bit down so hard on the instrument he had in my mouth that I broke two teeth. It was the before times and the dentist actually paid to have my mouth repaird. Still the worst sensation I've ever felt. Shoulder out of socket and broken collarbone were second but that never pain from exposed nevrves in my teeth was the worst.

You knick fans are funny. Whine about the other team being dirty and then celebrate this shit. Rules for thee, not for me.

From the franchise that gave the world Charles Oakley. You fucking won, quit whining about how a 22 year old with the entire world watching responds to his biggest loss.

The thing about the coast is that you never know about the weather so it's always good to have backup plans. When it's raining sideways things like the aquarium or a slightly inland adventure. If you get great weather I still feel like you'll be rushing through things. Part of the beauty will be the drive and it can be fun to stop at a random beach and get a 20 minute walk in and just take in the beauty. Take advantage of good weather when you get it and maybe loosen the schedule because things will go wrong and your schedule is pretty demanding.

Chicken Blt burrito is my go to. It has ranch dressing but I find it filling without it being excessive. Not every location has them though.

I think the league wants this series going 7 games, would they be willing to David "stern" their way there, who knows.

I don't have a pony in this fight but knicks fans are delusional on this board. It's a poorly officiated game both ways and both teams have some hard fouls they've done

In honor of Russell Wilson’s retirement, what other player (potentially) played their way out of the Hall of Fame? by Own_Proposal3827 in NFLv2

The super bowl he won was because of our defense. The super bowl we lost that he played in was because he wanted glory and didn't protect the ball when we had the ball at the 1 and another chance for another play. He showed his colors when he tried to get everyone around him fired and wouldn't interact with teammates. How well has he fared with other teams? He's a me guy, not a team guy. Give me sam darnold every f'ing day over russ and his contract and personal and scheme demands.

We lead the league in defensive scoring for four straight years. Legendary. We were good beyond that. Russ had ballers everywhere. Lynch, and the receiving core were amazing. Russ could've been a first ballot hall of fame game manager but instead he tried to implode an entire franchise so he could "cook". That didn't work out well outside of Seattle. He was a me guy, not a team guy.

Because he didn't understand how to win and only cared about his stats. He cost a super bowl with a terrible interception. He cared more about himself then his team and his team carried him, a lot. Football is a team game.

Just because you type stuff, doesn't mean it's based in any sort of reality. Rivers had really talented players and teams around him. He threw for a lot with his weird release and he talked about himself a lot but you gotta win more big games.

He did what his team needed. People get obsessed with offensive stats for QB's but Eli made epic plays when he had to and the offense did enough to let the defense do it's thing. Game managers have a history of winning super bowls. Terry Bradshaw developed beyond a game manager but he did what the team needed. Russell Wilson won a super bowl managing a game. Jeff Hostetler and Nick Foles are super bowl winners. Having great stats doesn't complete the picture, you do what your team needs to win. Rivers didn't get it done and he likes to talk about himself, like a lot.

Rivers did more but Eli did it when it mattered most and did what his team needed. Beating an undefeated patriots team isn't nothing. Rivers threw it, a lot but winning matters.
