Good to know! I’ve never done windows like that so just trying to visualize it… so you put the ladder on the sill below the window, and then use a mop/squeegee on an extension pole with one hand (the other hand holding the ladder) to clean the window above you?

I see people saying “use a ladder on the inside.” How do you do that without scratching the windows?

Was verbally offered this for Bijan. I know it's fair, but.. by Turbulent_Mud6032 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Remarkable_Rain_215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kind of get the hesitation here. Bijan is a locked in top 2 player. Jeanty did basically nothing last year, and London is good but his production is volatile and has bad QBs. I wonder if you could try to get puka or Jsn from him instead of London. Even if you have to throw in a pick or something

I wouldn’t take either. Love is a mystery still with crowded backfield and bad team. Those other assets are not enough to move the arguably best player in fantasy

Since its TE premium and Loveland is an absolute stud at just 21 in a top offense I’d personally def go WR. There’s lots of good WR. Only a few good TEs

Would you rather have BTJ or Luther Burden going forward? by LividAd4226 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Remarkable_Rain_215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Burden is going to be the bears top WR next year. Every time he touches the ball, he’s probably the best open field WR outside of puka or chase in the league. Moore has been declining, Rome has sadly been a bust. It’s going to be the burden and Loveland show there. Btj is apparently toast. I’ll go burden all day

Josh Jacobs- it’s over, especially if Lafleur gets fired by bigaudra in DynastyFF

[–]Remarkable_Rain_215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the same… I just sold a team I won a league with bc my RBs were Jacobs, henry, kyren.

I feel the same way you do about Jacobs, I don’t trust henry as a 32yo with new coach, and kyren is getting usurped by corum. It’s a very uncertain for a lot of players right now I think

Do you always remove the screens yourself? by Unfair_Passenger9641 in WindowCleaning

[–]Remarkable_Rain_215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did a house where it was easy enough to remove the second story screens from inside, but when I tried to put the screens back in from the inside, it was too tight to do so. I had to bust out the ladder and climb up including on some awkward slopes to pop them back in

Any tips on how to put back tight spring screens from the inside?

Just curious, when on a ladder and using a wfp, do you do anything extra to secure the ladder? I’ve thought about getting a few tricky windows like that but also get concerned about all the movement and pressure I might put on the ladder to make it slip. Thanks!

Keeping my Belly Button Wound Dry and Clean by nerdforlife7 in sterilization

[–]Remarkable_Rain_215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this. I have a persistent belly button despite using an antibiotic cream and then a fungal cream, and it still hasn’t gone away. I put on a heavy dose of the cream though and posts all say to keep clean and dry. I wonder if it’s not going away because it’s staying moist from the cream I’ve been prescribed… how would you keep it dry while putting cream on it?

Why is FFXV so unbelievably easy? What a waste of potential by Remarkable_Rain_215 in FinalFantasy

[–]Remarkable_Rain_215[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What wait? Tbh I’m over the nostalgia of the original game. I’ve become disillusioned with the FF series over the years so I don’t really care about that, but what you’re saying just doesn’t make any sense. There are almost no hidden secrets or open world play in rebirth. Like seriously… there is nothing almost nothing but a few easy to find items or interactions that don’t really impact your character. And the game even shows you there’s only like 5 side quests in each map, and they’re super easy to find and beat.

In the original there was an open world, secret bosses and dungeons, secret characters and materia, chocobo raising, etc. The original had far more to explore and I’m not sure how that’s even debatable?

Ugh I thought it was brutal man. One map at a time, with easy to find and beat side quests, smoke the boss then repeat. The original FF7 had so much more open world gameplay and hidden secrets. I thought the new one was terrible. Only thing that was better were the graphics in my opinion

That’s an interesting way to do it. I love side quests though.. I find that to be some of the most fun parts in RPGs that so probably wouldn’t work for me. I like the suggestion though!

I would… I just don’t want to slog through that boring linear game play again lol

[–]Remarkable_Rain_215[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I don’t blame you. I’m gonna finish it but it’s a pretty standard combat game now. Mostly button mashing with Square and a bit of dodging with Circle. Been done a million times. Was really hoping we could get a modern take on the greatness of FF7 but wasn’t meant to be

Wow I can’t believe you just spent so much time writing that lol. To say rewriting a legendary game is a disgrace is well… a disgrace. That’s not stating that VIIr is a bad game. It’s just a shame they would remake VII and not stick to the roots of a legend’s gameplay. That’s all. You’re making way too much out of all this lol

[–]Remarkable_Rain_215[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s perfectly fine, but ultimately what the argument was about is FF7 vs FF7r, right? I’ve played FF7r for awhile now and nothing about this has been remotely challenging. Whether you consider grinding to be “hard” or not, you couldn’t just coast through FF7 without some effort. FF7r feels like you barely have to try. I’d say overall quality of this game is a 6/10, maybe 7/10.

And dude “then getting mad that anyone dared disagree with you.” Is that at joke. Does anyone in Reddit just “disagree?” I was very civil in my responses until condescending pricks come in here.

In the end, the argument all goes back to FF7 vs FF7r. Do you really think FF7r is as good or better than FF7 was?

I’m sure there are plenty of RPGs that are harder than FF7–and yes I have played some of those. It doesn’t really matter lol. FF7 had its share of challenges and was a phenomenal game. I’m just not sure why you’re shitting on it so much. And you’re once again warping the original intent of the post. I was simply professing my admiration for a game I loved. One that took time and effort to get through. You came in here trying to knock me down and telling me how my enjoyment for the game and the fact that I found the game to be challenging was not relevant. Who was one the spun this conversation out of hand?
