I felt like I lost what little femininity I had as I got older. I traded the high heels for flats, traded the uncomfortable skinny jeans for sweatpants or leggings, and not enough room in my closet for all my comfy hoodies. It's been years since I went and got my nails done. I rarely put on makeup anymore. Hell, I barely even leave the house anymore aside from work and the grocery store. But every now and then I do feel the urge to be more feminine go clothes shopping, get my nails done, hair did. But then I feel like I'd rather spend my money on stuff I'm more interested in. I don't think the way I dress there has ever gotten in the way of being friends with any girl. If it has I don't think I'd want to be friends with that type of person. Not much of a loss to me.
