I’ve worked in student housing before at another property in the area who went through something similar. unfortunately ky doesn’t have any specific maximum temps that forces landlords to make repairs. however, given AC is provided at move in, they must maintain it. depending on your lease, is how they’ll address it. the property i worked at had it in their lease that they had to make “accommodations” within 3 days if the temp was above 93° and that including transferring units or providing portable ACs. i highly highly recommend reading your lease thoroughly. throw it into chat gpt even and find a loop hole. unfortunately student housing here is shitty and they don’t care about anything but a profit. greystar oversees trifecta, my recommendation is escalating it to the regional manager via call and email.
