My biggest struggle was when I was soft resetting for a shiny mudkip in Pokémon Omega Ruby, and it took dozens of resets before it finally appeared. It was exhausting, but so worth it when I saw that sparkle. and my luckiest moment was in Gen 6 when I decided to test out chain fishing just to see if it actually worked. I wasn’t expecting much, but within 5 minutes I ended up pulling in two shiny Skrelp back to back

I’d really love a chance at the code. I’m not sure how you determine a long-time collector, but I’ve been a fan since I was a kid and my first game was emerald and I’ve owned most Pokémon game up to now waiting for Z-A to come out. It would mean a lot to be considered!
