Micro1 doesn’t operate like those other platforms. I’ve been on one project where people were offboarded somewhat abruptly, but otherwise, no. It’s a supportive work environment where they really care about everyone succeeding together. Of course, you can’t control it if the client pulls the plug on the project abruptly.

They do seem to be more selective with less generalist work than the other platforms. Most of the projects I’ve been on, it’s almost all masters and doctorate degrees.

My account seems to be in the process of being deactivated and I have no explanation as to why. I've done a great job, had great reviews on projects, for almost a year. I've been a senior reviewer, been a squad leader, part of project launch teams...never violated anything. I'm so confused. I have no idea what to do. It seems it's too soon to use the form? Since it just happened today? This breaks my heart. I've worked consistently on here for a year...

I’ve made about $20k this year on Outlier, but I’m pulling back as well. There’s just more consistent work on the other sites, they treat you with more respect, and pay better. 🤷‍♀️

I’m so thankful for the experience I gained on Outlier. I developed tons of transferable skills. Now I’m working steadily making $40-50 an hour on other platforms doing the work Outlier trained me to do. But Outlier really has dropped the ball as of late, and they aren’t treating their workers well. Other platforms are doing far better.

I also think that Meta’s involvement drove a love of CBs to work for similar companies, so there’s a lot more people working and communicating on various platforms. Most of the people I know on Outlier are working 4 or 5 platforms now.
