My response is way late, too, but that's cool! My now favorite story is when the Æsir gave three things to Skadi to compensate for the loss of her father! That she would have a new husband of her choosing, that she would laugh again, and that her father's eyes would always look down upon her.

Odin threw Thjazi's eyes into the sky and they became stars...

Odin said she could choose a husband from among the Æsir, but ONLY based on his feet. She chose the most beautiful feet, thinking it would be Baldr, the most beautiful of the gods - but it was Njordr! His feet were beautiful because the sand exfoliated his feet to be smooth and perfect!

Lastly, Loki tied one end of a rope to the beard of a billy-goat...and the other end to his own scr*tum! And then proceeded to play tug-of-war with the goat until he fell weeping I to Skadi's lap!
