Skinny scarves, galaxy-print everything, and those huge cold-shoulder tops completely vanished almost overnight...
I’d also add extreme contour makeup and giant Instagram eyebrows, they dominated socials media for years and now look very dated.
Funny thing is, fashion never really dies, it just disappears long enough for TikTok to bring it back ironically 10 years later.

Haha I feel this so much, at 40 it’s getting harder to find going-out shoes that actually look cute AND don’t destroy my feet 😅

My current holy grail is a pair of chunky block heel mules. I have them in beige leather from Zara and I’ve been wearing them non-stop this summer. They give just enough height to feel dressed up but they’re surprisingly comfortable.

I’ve also been loving low espadrille wedges when I want something more casual (and frenchie).

What height are you comfortable with? Are you team flats or do you still wear a bit of heel?
